Privacy Policy

This is an English translation of our Dutch privacy policy. In case of any difference, the Dutch version is binding.

2. What data do we use and why?

Contact and reservations. If you call or email us, we use your name, phone number or email address and your message to answer your question or record your reservation. Legal basis: handling your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep reservation details for no longer than one month after the reservation, and emails until your question has been dealt with and for no longer than one year.

Orders via Thuisbezorgd, Uber Eats or Foodticket. The platform gives us the details we need to prepare and deliver your order, such as name, address and order. We use them only for that order. The ordering itself is covered by the platform’s privacy policy.

Server logs. On every visit our web server records technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page and browser type. We use this to keep the website secure and working and to count visitors without cookies. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our hosting provider keeps the logs for about 30 days; copies used for our monthly statistics are deleted after the monthly report, within three months at the latest.

Ad measurement (Google Ads). Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); see section 4.

Google Maps. The map on the home and contact pages only loads when you click Load map. Your browser then connects to Google, which receives your IP address among other things and may place cookies. Without a click, nothing is sent to Google.

3. Who do we share data with?

• mijn.host (the Netherlands) hosts our website and email and processes data on our behalf.
• Google only receives data if you give consent (Google Ads) or load the map (Google Maps). Google may process data in the United States and is certified for this under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Google’s privacy policy.
• We do not sell data and only share it otherwise when the law requires us to.

4. Cookies and local storage

• Your cookie choice (tuana-consent, local storage in your browser) remembers for twelve months whether you chose Accept or Decline. This is necessary and is not sent to us or to third parties.
• Google Ads cookies (such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw, up to 90 days) are placed only if you click Accept. They measure whether someone clicks an order button or our phone number after seeing an ad. If you decline or make no choice, Google Tag Manager is not loaded: no advertising cookies are placed and Google receives no advertising data about your visit.
• Google Maps may place cookies after you click Load map.

You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you then choose Decline, we delete the Google Ads cookies from our website.

5. Security

Our website uses an encrypted connection (https).

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, to restrict its processing or to object to it. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time. We respond within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
